I hold medical specialty certification in Internal Medicine and in Endocrinology and am Board certified in 
Laser Medicine. I personally perform over 2000 laser treatments every year. A central focus of my practice are hormonal conditions that effect the skin, such as Acne, Excessive Hair and age-related skin changes. My professional memberships include the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, the American Endocrine Society, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. I am a Medical Research Council of Canada Fellow, and conducted research at the Rockerfeller University in New York City. I served on staff at St Michael’s Hospital of the University Health Network for over 10 years. I have published numerous scientific articles in international medical and scientific journals. I am also a Dean's List Graduate of the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.
John Keller M.D. Ph.D., our associate Clinic Director, and a Board Certified Laser Physician. Dr Keller is a graduate of Medical School at the University of Toronto, and
trained in Internal Medicine at Sunnybrook Medical Sciences Centre.
He holds a
PhD from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Dr Keller is often asked to act
as an Examiner for the American Board of Laser Medicine, for physicians from around the world.
Dr Keller is also certified by the makers of Botox as an ADVANCED BOTOX INJECTOR, and personally performs hundreds of injections every month.
Dr. Tsai Chen MD MBA CCFP(EM) received the Chancellor's Award, which is given to the top student in Undergraduate Studies at the University of Toronto. He holds Specialty Certification in both General and Emergency Medicine. Dr Chen's special interest is Phlebology (the treatment of Varicose Leg Veins), which he has studied in Montreal. He is one of the few physicians in Canada with expertise in duplex-guided sclerotherapy, which is considered the gold standard of leg vein treatment.
Dr Chen is also a Certified Restylane Advanced Injector.
His professional memberships include the Canadian College of Family Physicians , the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery , and the Canadian Society of Phlebology . He serves on the Emergency Staff of several GTA Hospitals.
Mahmood Kara MD FRCSC Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr Kara is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with over 15 years of experience performing the most advanced cosmetic procedures. A graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School, he completed a full 5 year Residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Western Ontario, where he won the Gold Medal for Surgery. He is the only Plastic Surgeon in the GTA currently performing the 24 hour recovery breast Augmentation procedure. He is a member of many Canadian and International Plastic Surgery Organizations
